Ernesto Coppel is the president and developer of Quivira. He is also Founder and Chairman of the Board of Pueblo Bonito Golf and Spa Resorts, eight luxury resorts in Cabo San Lucas and Mazatlan, Mexico. Coppell is a graduate of the Instituto Technologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, one of the most prestigious universities in Mexico. In 2004, Coppel was named Mexico’s Entrepreneur of the Year for his community involvement and achievements in the growth of Mexico’s economy. He earned recognition by FONATUR for the quality of his resorts and received the Five Star Diamond award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences for his illustrious career in tourism.

Taber came aboard as Quivira's managing Director in August 2018.  He brings over three decades of experience in real estate investment and development. Taber's successes Include the development of elite communities from the American Southwest to Scotland. He has played instrumental roles in the founding of such dynamic development organizations as the True Life Companies and Symmetry Companies.  Taber’s long-standing belief in a holistic approach to luxury residential development that provides “true enrichment for the property owners“ aligns perfectly with Quivera's own person-centered philosophy, which prioritizes health and happiness in all aspects of life for guests, residents and employees.
JACK NICKLAUS

The name Jack Nicklaus is synonymous with greatness – both on the course and off as designer and builder. As he says, “designing a golf course is my total expression. I always knew my golf game would only go on so long. But what I have learned can be put into a piece of ground that will last beyond me.“ In the mid-1960s, course Architect Pete Dye invited Jack to the golf club in Columbus Ohio.  Dye was designing the course and asked Jack to offer his suggestions. A hobby and budding passion were born. Since that time, Nicklaus Design has truly elevated the standards of golf course architecture and design. With the name Nicklaus behind a golf course, it’s value is instantly enhanced. And that value will only grow with time.
